AMCI Integrated Servo Motors Get More Torque

Advanced Micro Controls Inc. (AMCI) releases the SV400E2 Integrated Servo Motor, expanding the torque options available within the integrated servo family. The SV400E2 eliminates the need to purchase multiple components by incorporating a servo motor, drive, and controller in a single unit. AMCI’s SV400E2 Servo Motor offers many sophisticated features, and the integrated compact design is ideal for both new machinery and retrofit applications.

SV400E2 Features

  • Servo Motor + Drive + Controller
  • 1.3 Nm continuous torque, 3.5 Nm peak torque
  • EtherNet/IP, Modbus-TCP & Profinet
  • Integrated, Dual-Port Switch
  • Programs using PLC’s native software
  • Simple Performance Tuning
  • Dynamic Torque Control
  • Safe Torque Off Option
  • Absolute Multi-Turn Encoder Feedback

AMCI’s SV400E2 Ethernet Integrated Servo Motor includes an intrated dual port switch with EtherNet/IP, Modbus-TCP, & Profinet connectivity and has the following features: simple performance tuning, dynamic torque control, safe torque off (optional), virtual axis follower, absolute encoder feedback, built-in web server, compatible cord sets, and more.  Additional software is not needed because everything is programmed from the PLC using the controller’s native software.  Additionally, configuration files (EDS & GSDML) and sample programs help to streamline the product’s initial set-up and programming.

      NSW Healthy Floodplains Project

      NSW Healthy Floodplains Project

      NSW Healthy Floodplains Project

Floodplain harvesting is the last substantial capture of water to be licensed in the Basin. Bringing floodplain harvesting into the licensing system will improve accounting and compliance of water use in NSW.

Floodplain harvesting licenses and approvals for all five northern basin valleys are scheduled to be in place by July 2021.

Storages used for floodplain harvesting will need to have a survey benchmark installed. A qualified surveyor will survey, install and verify benchmarks prior to installation of storage meters.

To comply with the floodplain harvesting measurement rules you will need to have a compliant storage meter fitted with a local intelligence device (LID) and tamper evident seals. It must be installed and validated by a duly qualified person by your roll-out date.

“It is the water user’s responsibility to ensure they purchase a fit-for-purpose device that meets their individual needs”

Automated Control is the Australian distributor for STS a specialist pressure and level sensor manufacturer based in Switzerland.  STS range of sensors and applications is very comprehensive from Sub Sea oil and gas too Space exploration.  As you can imagine the pressure to perform in these environments reliably over the long term is a paramount consideration. Please visit https://www.stssensors.com/learn-share to gain an insight into quality and the level of competence of STS to deliver solutions around the globe.

Automated Control is a trusted supplier for several of Australia’s largest water corporations, and through this work we have developed the experience to become specialists in the monitoring of river, lake and ground water levels.

The STS  PTM/N/SDI-12 is a submersible sensor which is a proven performer in Australian conditions with many hundreds of sensors in service around Western NSW.  Each sensor is manufactured individually, and quality tested to a customer’s specification for level range, cable type, cable length, and with options to exactly match your installation requirements.

Whilst the focus of the Healthy Floodplains Project is around dam storages, many water user’s also have groundwater entitlements and the STS  PTM/N/SDI-12 water level sensor is suitable in both applications.  Measuring groundwater level is critically important for identifying long term trends, including declining water levels, seasonal variations, aquifer recharge, artificial aquifer storage and recovery, and level status for drinking water.

As it has already been stated  “It is the water user’s responsibility to ensure they purchase a fit-for-purpose device that meets their individual needs”  STS’s  PTM/N/SDI-12 water level sensors are manufactured to a water user’s specification.  It is a trusted instrument in the field of water management used by government owned institutions.  It has had more than a decade of use in Western NSW.  Only made by STS in Switzerland to exacting quality standards.
